Flux Top 10: Chitty's Ultimate Festival

Usually, my top 10's revolve around more mainstream bands and music that everyone has at least heard of. I figured, hey it's about time to give all those amazing bands that I talk about on Friday a lil top 10 love! So, I have compiled a list of my Top 10 songs from bands you might have heard of and songs that I rock out to now from epic bands. Oh yes, this is going to be epic.

I know, some of you are going to say, 'Hey these are all bands you've talked about before.' to that I say, you are damn right. I am going to keep talking about these bands until the world knows of their epicness I can be a hipster and say, 'Oh them? Yeah, I liked them way before they became popular.' I can't wait for that.

So, this my layout for the 10 bands I want to play a festival together. Bringing together all my facorite sounds into one place. Sure, I'll say it's for the fans and what not, but really it's because I want to see them all play in one or two nights. Maybe I'll do up a Kickstarter for the funds to get it happening! What you think? Haha Enjoy the list and share it all over! I want this one to be the biggest blog posting I got, which means beating out Top 10: F**k You Songs

10. Digital Summer - 'Forget You'

This song, which was published on Set 10th, 2012 has already gotten almost 400,000 views. And for great reason. The song kicks effin' ass! This band is continuing to pump out amazing track after track and it won't be long until they're off and running past the big bands out there. I called it first dammit. (originally posted about them here)

9. Prosevere - 'New Number 2'

Oh yes. from the Bands You Need To Hear part 2 I bring you, Prosevere. Still rocking this song hard. The lead singer has those crazy eyes man. He's thinking bad thoughts... It's awesome! Craving more from them, and as soon as I get more, you guys will hear about it too.

8. Walkways - 'Towards The Light'

These guys have not been featured on a Top 5 yet, but I promise they will be. I just recently heard this song, and I can't get enough of it. Such a tight sound and great mixing added. Makes me get all RAAAHHH and stuff. Totally digging it. Coming straight from Israel keep your eye on these guys.

7. Neverwake - 'Widowmaker'

naturally gotta give my boys in Neverwake a spot in the festival. They will rock it hard. I have no doubt. Check out the Profile I did on them (Here) and you will see they are cool ass guys who are ready for it. bring the noise guys. Bring the noise.

6. The Fallen Drakes - 'Masquerade'

Coming straight from Ireland is The Fallen Drakes. Originally posted them here. They are primed for a spot in the Ultimate festival. (Gee, Ireland, Israel, USA, this is like a world wide festival. Hell yes.) They have gotten some awesome accolades in the UK, it's time to bring it to North America and get some killer tunes from them here!

5. Darling Parade - 'Never Wrong'

To keep with the alt/rock feel from The Fallen Drakes, we gotta put in Darling parade. (Here) Great fit to close in the genre in this festival and bring awesome music to everyone around the world. Must have.

4. Negative pH - 'WH'

I literally just posted about them yesterday (here) but this music is made for a festival of amazing bands and music. I can just picture now, 25,000 fans in an open festival in a field some where close to my home (heh) and this song just pumping through the air. Would be so damn epic!!

3. Man on Earth - Venus

Come on, if this band isn't designed to play a festival none are. These guys are epic and fun. the most active social media band of all time and such an amazing loyal fan base it's crazy. These guys will bring the fans and the fun. Done. First posted here

2. Stitched Up Heart - 'Is this the Way You Get to Hell?'

First posted about this fantastic group here, and the love for this band grows more everyday. I spend so much time listening to this band it's crazy! Love the sound, the lyrics, the looks this band has it all and needs to be in this festival.

1. 3 Pill Morning - 'Skin'

Yup. These guys gotta be in too. No doubt about that. high energy, catchy lyrics, amazing riffs. Festival written all over it. 'Nuff said. Well, maybe not, I can say more, but I wont. I'd just keep ranting on and on and on... and on..

One again, thank you so much for checking out the list. I hope you enjoyed it and shared it with at least one person. I got to admit, this was one of the hardest Top 10 lists I've done. I have been introduced to so many amazing bands and I would love to see them in a festival. I may actually make this a running list, there's at least 25 other bands I wanted to include on this one and just couldn't squeeze them in. It's crazy. Anyways, hit me up on twitter, leave a comment, email me if you have any questions, comments or suggestions for future lists.

Don't forget to check out my sponsors on the right side, and if you got a spare buck or two, hit up the donate button on the top left. All funds go directly back into the blog to help make it better and more frequent. Thank all!

Friday Top 5: Instrumental Songs

I remember sitting in a coffee shop along time ago and having a conversation about music, and the guy I was with started ranting about how he hated instrumental parts in concerts. How it ruined the show for him to watch the musicians do their thing. I felt like slapping him. Watching amazing players do their thing and jam out without worrying about lyrics and just having fun is one of the best part of any live performance. If you don't agree, we can't be friends. I'm sorry.

Some days I just like to kick back and listen to some awesome music. When I'm deep in doing my designing or playing games I like to have some amazing music in the background to jam to without finding myself singing along. So, in honor of that, here are my top 5 favorite instrumental based songs/artists!

5. Apocalyptica - Nothing Else Matters

Nothing beats taking an amazing metal song and turning it to classical style strings. So amazing and beautiful. I love it. Apocalyptica was one of the firsts and still holds up to amazing standards. Enjoy.

4. String Tribute to Tool - Schism

I LOVE me some Tool. Seriously, I don't show it much, but I am a huge Tool fan. Add to it some amazing string work and I'm a puddle on the ground. They've released a few tributes to Tool albums and each of them are amazing. I highly suggest buying them all and just enjoying it.

3. Godsmack - Batalla De Los Tambores

First time I saw this DVD I was floored. Then this came on and I creamed my pants twice. Not gonna lie. This was epic beyond all comprehension and I don't think anyone could have done it better. Two drum kits, two drummers, epic guitar work and the energy is amazing. Not to mention the incorporation of such classic song riffs and drum beats. Excuse me while I watch it again. And again...

2. Bond - Explosive

For many years now, Bond has been my number one band to go to when I'm looking for instrumental amazing tunes. These ladies blow my mind. The sound is tight, the music is memorable and they are beautiful. They have an extensive amount of work out there, I highly suggest spending a day or two and listening to EVERYTHING. It is totally worth it.

1. Negative pH - OQ3.14

Remember how I said Bond was my number 1? Yeah, that was until I heard Neg. pH for the first time. Two man crew and damn are they amazing. This is the music you want to listen to while your gaming, or driving, or cleaning, shit anything. Welcome to Negative pH. Enjoy your stay and buy their music. Or else.

There we go folks, I hope you enjoyed the list, I know I had a blast going back and listening to these amazing songs again and again. Please help support these artists and buy their stuff, follow them and me on twitter and if you can spare a dime, there's a brand new donate button on teh top right of this page. Not saying you have to, but every dollar goes into making this lists better and more frequent. Either way, I will continue to post kick ass lists!

Have a great one, see you all tomorrow!

Flux Top 10: Bringing it back

I decided last minute to bring back a ton of songs from back in the day that you either loved, or hated, or hated to love. All those great songs that'll get stuck in your head and make you wish you had an ice pick to dig out your ear drums and curse my name until the end of days. OH YEAH!

Enjoy!

10. The Bloodhound Gang - The bad Touch

Everyone loved this song. It's funny, it's perverted and they jump around in monkey suits. Come on! This was an epic time in life. Remember, smile and laugh. Song along too. You remember the words.

9. Wheatus - Teenage Dirtbag

The hit song for all those guys who had a girl way out of his league and she wouldn't get with him. Well, really, you were chubby, smelled bad, didn't ahve a car, who can blame her?! What? That was only me? You never went through that? Shit...

8. No Doubt - Just a Girl

No one can deny this song.  It is a classic. Not to mention no one can deny the fact that Gwen looks EXACTLY the same now as she did in 1996... Now that proves to me that she sleeps in a giant tupperware container. Just saying...

7. Alanis Morsette - Ironic

Yes, the battle still rages on if this song is really ironic or just coincidental, but really it doesn't matter. It's a catchy tune. So shut up, sit back and watch. Damn haters.

6. Oasis - Wonderwall

Not ONLY a great song, not ONLY a classic that everyone knows, but has to be one of the top 5 best karaoke songs OF ALL TIME. 'Nuff said. ChittyB out.

5. The verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony

One of the first songs I really remember getting totally overplayed on the radio. It's a great tune, but gets stuck in your head so damn fast it's crazy. Also, I used to get The Verve and The Verve Pipe confused all the time. That sucked.

4. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication

They had a ton of catchy tunes back in the day, I just dig the video game-esque feel of this video. Nerd for life ya know? Great tune, catchy, yup fits the list.

3. Prodigy - Breathe

Oh yes, this song kicks ass and needs to be on this list. On a personal note, this song taught me the word psychosomatic. I asked my mom what it meant. Never forgot that. See? Music teaches me smart like.

2. Crazytown - Butterfly

The reason why so many people went out and got two star tattoos done. The reason why so much happened the reason why this gets stuck in my head so much, I'll never know. Damn song...

1. Hampton the Hampster - The Hampster Dance

I'm not even going to say anything about this one. Just gonna let it sit in your head and fester like a sore. SUCKERS!!

Thanks again for tuning in, I hope you enjoyed the list as much as I did. Come back next week for more great lists and have a great week!

Friday Top 5: Favorite Female Fronted Bands

OK, I've been pondering doing this list for a while, and recently I got introduced to some freaking amazing female fronted bands and I thought, yes, now is the time. I don't know the huge fascination I have with female singers, (maybe I'm just a pervert... who knows.) Regardless, I love listening to an amazing beautiful voice that can rock harder then most male singers. It's epic and it's awesome.

Seems only fitting to give you my fav. 5 female lead bands that you need to rock out to. You are going to like it because if you don't, a fairy loses her wings and a baby unicorn dies. Just saying. Enjoy!

Yes, I had them as one of top 5 #1's of bands you need to listen to, but I felt I needed to include them here. they kick ass and I can't wait to hear more from them. So, listen again, embrace it and show them love.

Great vocals, band is tight and they are creating a unique sound. Beyond all that, that bassist is a bad ass mofo. I mean, come on, a big ass chain for a strap? EPICNESS. I am following this band extremely closely and I will get an interview. Oh yes, I will.

I have chatted about ITM before but I'm going to do it again because this band has it all. They can cover so much emotion and ideas across such different sounds that it blows my mind. Vocals are entrancing, the music is beyond tight, and I am completed addicted to the 'Blood' album. Seriously, get it.

Recently this amazing band started following me on twitter and, as usual, I check out the music, see if I dig it, you know, do my thing. Well, after watching this video and hearing this song, I was floored. Literally. No really, I hurt my ass falling off my chair. I mean, it wasn't the music's fault, I slipped, but still, this band is among the best in the female ass kickers club. Hell yes.

I was sent to this band by one of my amazing twitter friends and I was instantly hooked. Such power in the vocals and the music can stand on it's own. Every member does such an amazing job and these amazing artists deserve all the fame and glory. They are gods and I am not worthy.

I seriously love this list and I hope you all did too. Make sure to pass it along, share it with everyone. Follow me on twitter or email me if you have any suggestions on bands I need to hear, or if you're a band looking to get a Band Profile up on the blog. Outside of that, don't be afraid to click on my sponsors to the side, check out the deals, blah blah blah have a great day, and we will see you tomorrow!

Friday Top 5: Songs to get it on

This list is not be confused with the Top 10 Most Romantic Metal Songs, but, a few songs fit in. This list is all about getting it on. So we're going PG-13 at least here people! You've been warned! Instead of the usual ranting, I'm going to get right into it (get it on!!) So here we go!

5. Adelitas Way - Alive

To start off, a nice romantic song, solid beat, lyrics that'll make any woman go 'Awwwwww'. Oh yea, that's how you start it off!! Also, the video shows like 4 good places to get it on, so if you need ideas, pay attention.

4. Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love

Great song to get it on. Don't care what you say. I prefer the Manson version and not the original, but either one works. It has enough of a solid beat to get the mood right, the sexy ass lyrics to set the tone and go have some fun!

3. Project 86 - Pull Me Closer, Violent Dancer

Getting into that, a little bit more aggressive form of love making... Yeah, just a little... Song works GREAT though! It's awesome. Yup. Big fan of this one. Heh. Anyways, moving on!

2. Pucifer - 22:20

Man, this is a sexy ass song. Something about Maynard's vocals, and the lyrics, the music itself. Just screams sexy times, in a slightly off way, but I'm a twisted individual so I can get away with it. Also, it's my list. BAM!
That brings us to the number one song... And really, you should have seen this one coming..

1. Nine Inch Nails - Closer

Just shut up, listen to the song, get your groove on, make some love and apparently treat someone like an animal. You know how it goes. *Cough*  I think, my existence is you know, flawed. Or something.

There we go! So what did you think? Enjoy the list? Share it! Let the world hear the love! tune in tomorrow for a new Top 10 list, go back and enjoy all my other Top 5 lists throw me an email, follow me on twitter let's have a great time. See you next time.

Band Profile: Shatterline

Band Name: Shatterline
From: Southeast Wisconsin
Genre: Hard Rock / Metal
Members: Kelly Animosity - Vocals
                  Dustin Germinaro - Guitar
                  Sean Ashmore - Guitar
                  Ryan Trainor - Bass
                  Jordan Richoz - Drums

Well ladies and gentleman, it's time for another fantastic Band Profile! Seriously, I love doing this. It's fun, relaxed, nothing too serious and I get to chat with amazing bands. This weeks amazing band is Shatterline. I featured them in the number one spot on my Top 5 Bands You need to hear pt 3 and I put them there for good reason. There is a raw edge and passion in what they play and how they play it. They're young, have some great talent and a long, killer road ahead. I can't wait for more from these awesome people, and I hope you all help support them on their rise up!

I got the opportunity to chat with Sean and asked him a few questions, so without adieu, here is my interview with Shatterline;

1. What is the story of Shatterline? How did you all get together?
Shatterline began in January 2011 with Dustin(Guitar) and John(Bass). They wanted to start a band with a strong emphasis on collaboration. They found Sean(guitar) and original vocalist Felicia. Together, without a drummer, we started writing songs. In March we found Jordan(Drums) and we were able to finish the songs as a complete band. This was not the current lineup of Shatterline that you hear today, however. Due to personal issues, Felicia was let go from the band, and we spent many months searching for the right vocalist. In September of 2011 we found Kelly, the current vocalist. With her solidifying the lineup, we were able to record the three-song demo that we have released. In April of 2012, John had to leave the band, due to family responsibilities. We were able to find our current Bassist, Ryan, in about two months after John's departure.
2. What are the main inspirations for the sound you have created?
We all have varying musical influences, but the three bands that really inspired us are Tool, Sevendust, and Eye Empire.
3. You got 3 kick ass tracks released, how long until we see the full album?
We still are not sure if we will release a full album anytime soon. We are almost done recording a new three-song EP though!!!
*Facebook update as of 9/11/12 - The recording phase of our new EP is DONE!!! Now onto post-production! \m/ \m/

4. How did it feel when you heard 'Break Me' played in Fox 96.9 FM? As well as with the Battle of the Bands? Was it a chilled experience? Or one filled with drunken debauchery?
It was feeling of great accomplishment! There is no greater high than knowing that people enjoy, and can identify with your music. Winning that Battle of the Bands also was a great feeling of accomplishment. We worked very hard developing our sound and stage performance. It gave us tremendous confidence to know that we, a band so young, were able to compete and hold our own head-to-head with the well established bands in the area. We did in fact get a little tipsy after winning the battle!
5. What band do you want to tour with the most?
Eye Empire (click here). We all love and respect that band SO much, it would be such a great experience to get that opportunity.
 6. Best show you ever had? Worst show?
Speaking from my viewpoint, our best show had to have been that Battle of the Bands performance. Bands pull out all the stops in battle situations, and we definitely rose to the occasion! The crowd was electric that night. Worst show had to have been at Hattrix in April. Even though people said we had a great set, we ourselves just weren't feeling it that night.
7. I'm a firm believer in female fronts, but I know some are haters. Have you had any run-ins regarding these people? Or just mostly perverts and stalkers in general?
We have only had a couple negative responses regarding our band, and the reality is that when you put yourself out there, some people will love what you're doing, and others will hate it. We just keep doing what we feel is right. I don't think Kelly has ever had problems with perverts or stalkers.
8. Social media obviously plays a huge part in a bands marketing and interaction with fans. With all the different media outlets available, is it hard to keep up?
It can be, but the secret is you always need to be on top of your social media. We try to make ourselves visible in every way possible.
 9. Describe to me why someone should listen to Shatterline. In 140 characters or less.
We offer a high-energy hybrid between Hard Rock and Metal with lyrics that one can identify with on a personal level.
For the record, that was an awesome description is 140 or less. Kudos.

10. What do you got coming up that people should know about?
September 15 we make our return to the Fox Valley at Star's Cabaret. October 13 we return to the Fox Valley for the Valley of Death Music Festival. November 10 we will be in Cudahy opening for BOBAFLEX.

Awesome. That was an epic interview. I want to give a huge thank you to Shatterline for this and my last words by me goes as follows:

Shatterline molds a unique blend between Hard Rock and Metal that is extremely appealing. The riffs and chorus are catchy enough to get stuck in your head for days, and they bring the screams and feeling that shows true metal love. I cannot suggest this band enough and I hope you agree and share them with everyone.

One again, thank you for checking out the blog, don't forget to catch up of my other profiles, top 5's, top 10s everything I do here.

Also, if you see a good offer from my advertisers, check it out. Does good for everyone. Take care, follow me on twitter, facebook and e-mail me with questions, comments or suggestions.

Flux Top 10: Songs you wouldn't expect I like

Time to dive into the odd strange mind that is Chitty. Usually I`m a metal head, hard rocker etc, but these 10 songs are songs that I never really admit to liking but I dig. A lot. So bare with me, don't laugh too much and enjoy!

10. Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me

I think I really started digging this song after hearing the Collegehumor.com parody song called 'Hover Hands' at least that's my excuse. Either way, it's a catchy tune and I refuse to admit that out loud. Well, minus here.

9. Lady Gaga feat. Beyoncé - Telephone

I really don't understand this one. Your guess is as good as mine, but it's addictive. Shut up. Leave me alone. Don't judge me.

8. Flo Rida - Whistle

Seriously do not understand this one. I mean, the undertone of the song makers me chuckle. Ok, really makes me chuckle. But half the time I can't stand the song, and still find myself singing along. BASTARDS! Ah, ok I feel better.

7. Nicki Minaj - Starships

So, while filming this I realized I HATE the Nicki Minaj version of this song. Maybe it's just the video, but I hate it. This version seen above, I can't get enough of it's awesome and fun. So yeah. There we have it.

6. Train - 50 Ways to Say Goodbye

It could just be Mr. Hasselhoff in the video but I find this song epic. Well played. not that I'll ever admit to it...
I also got a soft spot for a mariachi band. #justsaying

5. Culture Beat - Mr. Vain

OK, not that I`m actually ashamed of this song or the dance music of the 90`s. Actually I still love these tunes and rock them all the time. It might surprise you though, that I still dance around when no ones around. MUHAHA!

4. Robyn - Crash and Burn Girl

Again, I'm not ashamed that I love this artist, shes epic and puts out some catchy stuff. It's just the type of tune I skip when I'm crusin' down the road blasting my tunes. I get funny looks going from Machine Head to Robyn... Yea...

3. Nelly Furtado - Maneater

Ugh... maybe it's just the video I like, you know kinda sexy and stuff but I do enjoy this tune. Shut up. Moving on.

NO WAIT! I like it because she's Canadian! Yeah! That's it!

2. Usher Feat. Ludicris & Lil' Jon - Yeah

Brings me back to the days of Playing tunes in the bar. All the girlies love this song. OH YEAH! ...And it's catchy as hell and gets stuck in my head. Haha

1. Nickelback - How You Remind Me

I justified this by saying I loved it before it got completely overplayed and ruined everything. All these years later I can still listen to it and enjoy it. BUT NEVER IN PUBLIC or around anyone!!

So there is my embarrassing list. Hope you all enjoyed my misery. What songs do you love and wont tell anyone? Hit me up on email, twitter, facebook and stay, check out the other lists and stuffs I got kicking around! Oh yea, check out my sponsors and advertisers on the side. they got some epic stuffs!

Friday Top 5: Band you should listen to Part 3

I asked on twitter if people were bored with this, and they said no. So, here is another fantastic list of bands that need way more recognition than they get. I hope you enjoy!

Wow, these guys seriously are awesome.  They have such an amazing sound that draws me in. 'Ghosts of Men' (video above) got me hooked instantly. The view totals they have do not compare with the sound they have. This band will go far and have an amazing career. I called it first. Screw you all, I'm right.

4. The Fallen Drakes - www.facebook.com/thefallendrakes

My good twitter buddy @Stewielove30 pointed these guys out to me. Some good ol' Irish rock for ya. In all seriousness, I love this band. I listened to 'Desert night' about 10 times while writing this and I'll be picking up the album as soon as I can, and I highly suggest, no, I tell you that you MUST buy this album. Listen to Chitty, he'll never set you wrong.

3. Darling Parade - www.facebook.com/darlingparade

Generally not my usual style of music, but Darling Parade has a sense of genuine love of music that I found it intoxicating and had to put them on this list. The music video was extremely well done and the song is catchy. Their fan bases is growing so get on it now and you can tell everyone how you listened to Darling Parade before they became famous. :-D

2. The Persevering Promise - www.facebook.com/theperseveringpromiseband

Damn I love twitter. Seriously, I have been introduced to more amazing bands every damn day and these guys fit that bill. Totally fills that deep need for awesome metal sounds. Good and hard, great vocals, great screams makes my little metal heart cry in happiness. So yea, enjoy!!

More women singers. I cannot say this enough. Shatterline is no exception. I'd love to see more music on Youtube (Yes, I'm a Youtube addict...) but this song is awesome. I give my Seal of Chitty Approval (official seal coming. No, really.) I tell you that you must like them. MUST!

One more Friday come and gone hell yes. I hope you all enjoyed the list, don't forget to pass it along, tweet me, email me, suggest me some more amazing bands and come back tomorrow for the Top 10!!

Flux Top 10: Songs that matter to me Pt. 2

So, I'm continuing on the list I started last week(Click here) and although I had one plan in mind, I changed it at the last moment to this version. Basically, I decided to go over the top 10 songs that have always mattered to me, and will always have a special place in my heart. Dated songs? Yes. Amazingly epic awesome songs? Hell yes.

Now, on a separate yet related note, it was mentioned to me in a not so subtle way that I should keep the format I have going on with Friday Top 5 (Click here) and include videos with the list and who am I to disagree with what people want.

If you just wanna skip the rambling I do here and just wanna see the videos, I have set up a playlist on my new Youtube channel (Which, dammit, go and subscribe now!) so click here is you want to just go there.
With all that plugging, here we go!

10. Korn Feat. Limp Bizkit - 'All in the Family'

Like it or hate it, this was the killer song my friends and I rocked this song before hitting up the bar. Hell my friend Cindy and I had this shit memorized with each of us having our own parts. (I got Fred Durst.. mainly cause Cindy wanted to bone Mr. Davis something BAD. Heh) At any rate, this is one of those awesome memory songs that I love to listen to.

9. Machine Head - 'From This Day'

This was part of my metal induction. I saw this video way back in the day on Much Music's new music program and I fell in freakin' love. Seriously got me hooked. I got the album the next day and loved every song. thus creating a Machine Head fan boy for life. Then, I heard the live version from the 'Hellalive' CD and the quality of the recording alone blew me away. Completely gave me goosebumps. Yup. I really need to see them live. #Bucketlist

8. Disturbed - 'Voices'

Also saw this video on Much Music's new music program (I loved that show) and from the beginning of the song I was engrossed in Disturbed. I got to see them live way back in the day when they were touring Canada with Kittie and that was such an amazing concert that had some great moments that I will always remember. Also, on a side note, I want that shirt David is wearing in the video. I don't care how old this video is, that dudes got style. Just sayin'.

7. Spineshank - 'Beginning of the End'

Spineshank honestly introduced me to my beautiful lady. She had a dude, I had a lady, but the music was a great opening conversation in a small town. Now this song is one she told me she loved. So, being the kick ass DJ I'd throw it on for her every weekend she came in and got flack form all the Country music lovers there. Oh well, I was playing a killer song for a hot friend. Never had a shot back then, but several years later I gots her. Muhahaha music rules.

6. Sevendust - Waffle

Ok, I originally had one song here but then it was pointed out I doubled up from last week so I changed it to another amazing song that I love. Great song with deep lyrics that touch me. Now, listen and love or I will start singing the Barney 'I love you' Song. Really loud.

5. Slipknot - 'Spit it Out'

We got us a double song here! Not only did it enter my party songs on the way to bar singing it while walking (No drinking and driving back then!) but a great song to get all angry and hateful. Been there before, oooh yea. Such fun in so many ways. I will always love this song. Side note, the video is creepy awesome.

4. A Perfect Circle - '3 Libra's'

This just a deeply personal song to me. I don't know really how to explain it, but it strikes a cord deep inside and this song resonates there. Something in the lyrics, and sounds that hypnotize me. If you don't know the song, just listen. Don't do anything, just listen. :)

3. Stone Sour - 'Through Glass'

'OH MY GOD! Corey Taylor on the list again? Really Chitty??' I'm sure that's what you're saying right now, but yes. I am. My personal songs and this one hits me right there man, right in the heart type place. *sniff* Just one of those songs. We've all been there. We've all lived there. Just embrace it and let the music flow.

2. The Verve Pipe - 'Freshman'

Time to get serious here for one moment. Originally, I loved this song. it had a great sound, touching lyrics and it was awesome. but, one night way back in 2000 I was listening to it while I was at work when I got a call from my girlfriend at the time. She let me know that a really great friend of ours was struck and killed by a drunk driver not an hour earlier. Since that moment, this song reminds me of my friend. Always will. So this song needed to be on this list. RIP, you're never far from my thoughts.

1. Roadrunner United - 'Army of the Sun'

Back to the fun side of the list, the number one song I have had as a number one before. (Most romantic metal songs)  Also, beyond all that, the song is just freakin' epic!!!!!!

All done for another week, don't forget to sub up, follow me on twitter, facebook, youtube, umm.. uhhh email. Send presents. I like gifts. I hope you have an awesome long weekend and let me know what you thought of the list. Do you prefer the addition of videos? Is it distracting? I know I don't mind it. Well, except it means I gotta do more work. Oh yea! Don't forget to check out some of my sponsors on the side --->
They got some kick ass deals and download the free iTunes song of the week too!

Happy Hunting!
