Music news week #1 Nov. 19^Th – nov. 25^th

Pink absolutely rocked it at the AMA's on the 18^th. Like, holy hell that chick put on one hell of a show, and I'm not even that huge of a fan. In other news, people won awards, I lost interest really, not gonna lie.

Alicia Keys has set up a UK tour for her new album 'Girl on Fire' hitting cities such as Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester, and London. Should be a fun time, she puts on one hell of a show.

Rolling stones did a review on the new soundgarden album 'King Animal' I enjoyed in the album personally, but I don't feel it's going to be a constant play on my list. Check it out.

In Kick ass peoples news, Foo Fighters Front man David Grohl is to give the keynote speech at the 2013 south by southwest conference. I don't care who you are, or what you listen to, David Grohl is the man. Bottom line.

one of my all time favorite bands Puscifer has an 8 song EP coming out in February titled 'Donkey Punch the Night' which features 2 new tracks and some kick ass remixes, most importantly a cover of Queens Bohemian Rhapsody. Personally, I'm stoked for this.

Canadian epic musician Lights teamed up with several Canadian artists for a collaboration for Artists Against! Project against bullying. You gotta check this song out.

A message from Chitty! YAY!

So, I've been doing these lists for a while now, and you all kick ass for checking them out, I've decided it's time to fully migrate things into video format, from the Friday video 'Less Then 5: Band Profile' to this list. I think I will be changing the release dates too, Less then 5 on Friday  and the top 10 on like Wednesday or something. At any rate, I wont be doing a Top 10 today as I will be releasing it on the new day in video format! Still, check out the site, keep coming back here as I will be posting each video here as well. You all kick ass and Chitty loves you. Loves you until it becomes awkward.

Quick Rant #6: Blah days

Man, I tell ya, some days, no amount of killer music and coffee can snap me out of a blah day. No energy, tired as hell and a complete lack to do anything productive. SUCKS.  Usually, an apple, a coffee and some Project 86 keeps me moving and in a good mood but can't seem to get things rolling today and the days half over!

So, what keeps you going? What keeps you from falling asleep at your desk, or your car or just saying 'forget all this.' and hitting the mall instead of working? Let me know. 'Cause damn, I need something right now!!

Quick Rant #5: Update

Hey fellow metalheads and non-metalheads a like, Chitty here to bring a quick update. So tomorrows Top 10 might be a little bit later then usual. Family and I are going down to Westerner Days to enjoy some mini doughnuts, rides and animals, so I might be delayed in bringing it to ya.

Huge update, I'm in talks to have some additional bloggers join me, help expand the musical genres of this blog as well, I just upgraded my online presence and you can now view the blog and all related material at Http://www.chittyb.com!! Yaaaaay!

Lastly, I just want to thank all the readers out there, we haven't even been running for a month and we're going to be hitting 2,000 views. That is so epic, I am just so thankful.

Quick Rant #4: Waiting

So waiting in the doctors office. Man is it boring. 15 minutes after my appointment and I'm still waiting. Oh well. As my lady puts it, perfect time for a five minute rant. But nothings really coming to mind. Something about being so bored turns off my brain and I can't think of anything.

Being bored sucks. I'm part of a generation that needs constant stimulus! Entertain me Dammit! Give me dancing bears! Seals bouncing balls on their noses! Grandmas chasing midgets dressed as smurfs! Anything! 
Sigh. Well at least this killed 5 minutes of wait.

Quick Rant #3: Updates

Had no time last night to prepare a blog. Sorry folks. Something about having food poisoning keeps me from having time or energy to research stuffs. So, instead, just a small update.

Tomorrow I will be posting my first "Bands you should be listening to" blog. Got 2 amazing bands you will have to check out.

Saturday is a new Top 10 list of Lost Love Songs. It'll be a heavy list with some truly depressing songs, and really, there's a ton to choose from.

Sunday will be a weekly recap day and then we start all over!

Quick Rant #1: End of the World?

First off, no I am not a scientist, no I am not an overly educated man who knows all. hell, I'm not really educated at all. I do read though, a lot. News, articles, wikipedia, everything. So, I feel I have a opinion on this whole 2012 end of the world, armageddon, we're all going to die screaming in a fiery, (or icy?) death, run, duck save the women and children thing.

I do not believe anything different is going to happen on December 21st. That's just foolish talk. A mixture between superstition, folklore, mistranslated text, and people seeing what they want to. If anything, it's already started. Hell could have started thousands years ago. Nature has a path and a course. It's been seen throughout history, things go good, things stop. But it wont happen on one particular day. I personally think whatever happens wont be anything we expect and we'll never see it coming. OR, it will happen so gradually that every change becomes part of every day events.

Even look at right now, massive heat waves in the States, Canada is having odd weather, more tornadoes then ever before, but when the seasons over, it just becomes part of how it is, next year, might happen again. Only this time, people will expect it, it then passes into the common seasons. Slowly and slowly the weather patterns and extreme weather adjusts everything. Earthquakes shift the world around, magnetic poles shift... hey, shit happens. Its nature. 

Personally, I'm more worried about a huge meteor hitting us before the world explodes. Maybe aliens. Yea, we'll go with them, they don't get much credit any more. We need more alien stuffs. 

I think we need to stop focusing on what's going to happen and put that effort into the space programs, into feeding the needy and helpless, protecting the innocent, caring for one another, world peace. Hell at the very least, finding a renewable resource before the oil's all gone. SOMETHING that does not include massive panic on the world ending. In fact I'm saving my sorrow and depression for the fact that there's a damn good chance my generation is never really going to experience space exploration. Seriously, that saddens me greatly.

Anyways, thats my 5 minute unedited rant.
